We met in summer of 2010 at The Art Institute of California- Sunnyvale. But we never spoke to one another, just a casual "hello" here and "hi" there. No real interactions or conversation. Just Social Media friends. 5 years later, Jonas took it upon himself to comment on my instagram photo. "You're beautiful" he wrote with a smiley emoji. Feeling compelled, I reached out to Jonas. We got to know one another on a deeper level. We discovered we went to the same high school but never got acquainted. There were plenty of instances where the universe was aligning our inevitable unification.
In a few short months, I began to travel with Jonas. Together, we got to experience life like we've never had imagined. Visiting 40 states in two years all while making a documentary about traveling. 10 months after we began traveling, we discovered some life-changing news. We were going to have our first child together- Daris Balili Pantic. It was a happy but scary moment for the both of us. But in the end, we knew it was meant to be.
On March 30, 2017, we had a family trip to visit Zion National Park for the first time. Leading up to our family trip, Jonas kept having gut feelings of what the next chapter in our lives were going to be. So he followed his intuition and bought a ring that I had picked out, not knowing he was actually going to buy the engagement ring secretly during Vedrana's birthday dinner. Two days later, he proposed and asked for my hand in marriage in the most beautiful surrounding I could have ever imagined. The best part of it all was when Daris helped gave Jonas the courage to propose.
In 2018, together we achieved yet another family milestone of adding another member to our growing family- Darian Pantic Balili. Now, we are going to create a solid foundation for ourselves by tying the knot in our favorite place in the world - Zion National Park and we would be honored to have you there to witness our official unity.
