In the beginning stages of the 2020 pandemic, Dominique and Chad thought their wedding was going to be postponed, and rightfully so. A few months into 2020, Dominique and Chad reached out to us to discuss capturing their wedding (also a possibility of a postponement). Minutes into the conversation, we knew that they were going to keep their wedding date as planned just because how committed and realistic they were.
Five months into the pandemic and the wedding is still going as planned. Even with tight Colorado, venue, and Larimer County restrictions, they made their wedding day the best it could possibly be.
When we arrived, we were met with smiles and open arms by the bride and groom, as well as from their friends and family. We began capturing the bride having a moment with all her girls (including Momma) with a nice glass of champaign. Then we went over to the groom's suite to capture his moment with his guys and him writing his genuine love letter to his bride-to-be. Sooner rather than later, they met for their first look at a secluded spot within the property situated next to a creek as the bridal party watched from a distance giving Chad and Dom some much need privacy.
Being a destination wedding, Dom and Chad were very limited to the amount of guests they could invite and just like most pandemic, Dom and Chad had a special livestream of their wedding directly to their loved ones that we were able to provide. As Dom walked down the aisle, both bride and groom were completely swept away by the indescribable angelic bliss of love.
The rest of the day went on as planned- their grand entrance was explosive, their first dance was fiery, the speeches were heart-felt, and the reception was simply beautiful. And we are honored to have witnessed an amazing wedding in Estes Park, Colorado.
