They were AWESOME! They brought on a third photographer to help when they realized the size of the wedding events. They made suggestions where they knew better with their expertise and it worked out better than perfect - I.e. when the best time to take family photos. They were on time and ready to go with very creative pictures.

Should I have a South Asian
Grand Celebration or an Intimate Wedding?
Here are the six key differences.
Intimate Boutique
South Asian Wedding
-
The Scale: 125-250 guests.
-
Time spent with us (your photo & video team): 12-16 total hours.
-
This is for the couple who wants the full South Asian tradition but with a "luxury-first" lens.
-
Your Experience: By narrowing the guest list, you gain time. Time for an intimate portrait session in Forest Park or a deeply emotional Haldi ceremony where you get to speak to every person in the room.
-
The Photography: We focus on the "Editorial." Close-ups of intricate Henna artistry, the quiet exchange of glances during the ceremony, and the fine textures of your reception decor.
-
The Guest Experience: Guests appear more present, interactions between guests feel like a family reunion, and every single person involved is dancing their heart away during the reception.

The Grand Heritage Celebration
-
The Scale: 300-600+ guests.
-
Time spent with us (your photo & video team): 20-24 total hours.
-
This is the "Big Indian Wedding" legacy, where every cousin, colleague, and community pillar is part of the story.
-
The Energy: High-octane and public. Think a Baraat on 4th Street with a horse and drums echoing through the city, or a Sheraton at Lisle ballroom filled with 50-person synchronized dances.
-
The Photography: We focus on the "Epic." Wide-angle shots of packed dance floors, the sheer magnitude of the Mandap, and the vibrant chaos of a community coming together.
-
The Guest Experience: It feels like a grand-theater showcase, the traditional South Asian ceremony is three hours, a second american-style ceremony is celebrated, the sangeet is grand-experience on it's own, there's a henna experience for guests, the baraat feels like a big bollywood production, the dances for the reception night are well coordinated, and the dance floor feels like a night club.

We are so happy with our wedding photos and our wedding video. Our family and friends commented on how they watched it over and over again and how Jonas and Tatjana captured a feeling of love at the event. They came to our venue and scouted the venue before our event, so that on the day of the wedding, they were very prepared to capture our day. They were responsive to all our questions and took into consideration all the things we wanted in our video. We just absolutely love how it turned out. Thank you guys :)

How do we handle permits for National Parks?
Most National Parks, such as Zion and Rocky Mountain National Park, require a Special Use Permit for ceremonies. Check the website of the national or state park where you want to hold your ceremony and reserve your date.
Do you offer hybrid "Video & Photo" coverage?
Yes, we provide both Photography and Videography! By booking us for both, you get a cohesive creative vision and a smaller, more intimate team on the ground. We also offer a specific "Video & Audio of your vows" add-on to ensure your most personal moments are preserved with high-quality sound.
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Our policy is rain or shine. We are prepared for all conditions unless the National Park Service advises of actual danger. Moody clouds and rain often create the most cinematic and editorial-style images, and we have the professional gear to keep shooting safely.
Can we include family members in our elopement?
Absolutely! While elopements are more intimate, you are welcome to bring your dog or a trusted friend or family member to assist. If you want a larger group, we suggest a micro-wedding approach where we capture a small ceremony before heading off for your private adventure session.
How far in advance should we book for international destinations?
For our 2026 international dates—including Spain, Portugal, Croatia, and Italy—we recommend booking at least 8–12 months in advance. This gives us enough time to coordinate travel logistics and scout the best hidden locations for your session.
Can we customize our own travel destination ?
Definitely, while our 2026 calendar shows where we’ll be—like Spain and Portugal in July or Italy in September—we are nomadic at heart and travel nine months out of the year. If you have a specific dream location outside of our current schedule, get in touch, and we can likely make it happen.
How do we handle transportation and crowds in busy locations?
While we do become your guide, photographer, and videographer, it's great to have a family member or friend serve as a designated driver in crowded areas where we can hop off, they find parking, and we reunite on the trail.
Are you connected with talented vendors?
Yes! Over the years, we've developed excellent relationships with vendors whom we now consider friends from all the states & countries we've worked in. You name it, we'll have someone in mind. If they're unavailable, we can find a new vendor referral and introduce you.
